Finding work - Cambridge School

Finding work

Teach the world with the CELTA and Delta

Cambridge School CELTA and Delta graduates have a great track record of finding high-quality teaching work in all four corners of the globe. As well as obtaining the most widely recognised English teaching certifications in the world, we will also provide you with expert careers guidance and practical help in finding the job you want.

Careers advice sessions

All Cambridge School CELTA courses include an indispensable careers advice session. These sessions include invaluable guidance on:

  • The different types of work available in different parts of the world
  • The best online resources to help you find work
  • How to structure winning CVs
  • How to make the best possible impression in interviews

Report and references

As well as their certification, all CELTA trainees are also provided with a detailed official report on the different aspects of their performance on the course, which can be used to give prospective employers an overview of their skills and professional qualities.  Furthermore, both CELTA and Delta graduates are welcome to use their tutors as referees on their CVs.

CV review service

As part of our finding work service, the Cambridge School recruitment team will review your CV and provide you with detailed, personalised feedback to help you make the best possible first impression with prospective employers.

TEFL jobs website

We recommend that teachers use TEFL.com to help them find work.  It’s the largest English language teaching jobs website and carries hundreds of job ads at any given time.  It allows you to create and online CV and to apply for jobs with a single click.  It also has a mobile app and a job alert service which lets you know when there are new job openings in the countries you are interested in.

Work for us

Dozens of teachers trained on our Cambridge School CELTA and Delta courses have subsequently been employed by us.  Cambridge School prioritises candidates trained at our centre over other teachers with equivalent qualifications and skills.

We offer a friendly working environment, excellent pay and conditions and continued post-certification professional development as part of our in-house teacher training programme.  Moreover, as a one of the largest schools in Catalonia and a teacher training centre, we frequently have training and managerial positions ideal for Delta-qualified teachers.  Five of our ten centres are managed by teachers who took their CELTA or Delta courses with us.
