Delta Module Two and Three Entry requirements

At least one year’s teaching experience, although we recommend two full years (1500 hours).

Have a range of teaching experience in different contexts (e.g. different countries, different age groups, different types of language learner, business English etc) and at different levels.

Proficient English language user (between CEFR Level C1 and C2 or above).

Bear in mind that even if you meet these requirements, you may be recommended to further develop your teaching skills and knowledge before we can offer you a place on the course. The Delta modules are very demanding and our policy is to only offer places to candidates who have a good chance of passing the course.

In our experience, successful candidates are often Cambridge CELTA graduates and are able to write essays for academic purposes. The pre-interview task and the interview itself are designed to assess candidates’ suitability.

Delta Module Two selection procedure

  • You fill in our online application form and we send you our pre-interview task (During the COVID pandemic, our teacher training programme was suspended.  We hope to restart our courses for Summer 2023, and will start enrolling candidates during  the new academic year.  If you would like to be sure of reserving your place on the course, please email teachertraining@cambridgeschool.com and we will contact you when we open for applications.)
  • You send us the pre-interview task and we review it to check that you’re a suitable candidate.
  • We interview you either face-to-face or via Skype. In the interview we will tell you more about the course.
  • If we offer you a place on the course and you decide to accept, once you’ve paid the course deposit, we give you access to the online induction component.
  • We send you details of your accommodation (if you need accommodation).

Delta Module Three selection procedure

  • You fill in our online application form and we review it to check that you’re a suitable candidate.
  • If we offer you a place on the course and you decide to accept, once you’ve made the payment, we give you access to the online course.

Please note, if you also wish to make use of our review service, you should make the payment for this once you have completed the online course. Remember that it is not possible to make use of our review service without first having done our online course.
